C/D) The photographic techniques denoted
varies, the most obvious one is the shutter speed that this photograph uses,
for example the shutter speed used for this photograph would be considerably
faster than the standard as the image is crisp/sharp this is shown as it
captures the motion in which the water and the water droplets moved in mid-air.
The second photography technique used is that of the rule of thirds, this is
used to make the photograph technique look balanced. The third photography
technique used is high key lighting. Another photography term/technique that
this image uses is the camera angle known as eye level or neutral as well as
the shot type of a close-up, these angles and shot types were used to connote a neutral scene in which the image denotes an important action or event taking place, in this case the photograph technique 'close -up' denotes his facial expressions as its showing his unwavering determination and connotes his unwillingness to give in. could be denoted in several ways, one of which is to connote the beauty of
nature and wildlife by photographing the animals in their natural habitats,
another connotation of this photograph could be to denote how threatened
certain species are, or it could even be used in a leaflet for a wildlife centre
to again to denote and connote how threatened and endangered animals are or to
bring people in to their centre to educate them on wildlife.
C/D) The photographic techniques
that this photograph uses is also varied, yet again the most obvious
photography technique is the shutter speed as this photograph has a slow
shutter speed this is shown by the motion blur, which means the shutter speed
would be about 1/60th of a second. The second photography technique used is
shallow depth this is shown as the foreground is in focus whereas the
background is out of focus this is created through the us of a smaller f-number such as f/1.4 which also means this pictures has a large aperture. The third photography technique used is the
technique known as the rule of third which is used to make the photograph look
balanced, another photography technique used is high key lighting. The shot
type in which this photograph uses is a long shot and the camera angle
in which this photograph uses is a high angle meant to appear as if it is an eye level shot, the angles could have been used to connote how vulnerable and endangered the animals are becoming but it could also be used to connote how elegant the species are as well i.e the way in which the photograph was taken i.e the shutter speed causing the motion blur shows how the animal moves and act in its habitat, it denotes how dangerous and elegant the leopard can be. B) The purpose of this photograph
could be again to denote and connote the power of nature and to denote the
suffering of the people in the middle of its (Affected by it). But it could
also connote the complete opposite as the photograph could connote the strength
of mankind and their resilience to give in. The purpose of this photograph could also be to be used in a leaflet for say the Hart organisation (Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust) to bring awareness to the people struggling because of this event.
C/D) This photograph uses several
techniques, one of which is the technique known as the rule of third, which is
used to make the photograph look balanced. The second photography technique
that this image uses is known as a deep depth of field which is caused/created
by having a small aperture which is shown as both the foreground and the
background are in focus they do this by using a large f- number such as f/8, another photography technique used is high key
lighting. The fourth technique that was used in this image was the speed in in
which the shutter operated as the shutter speed would have been altered as it
caught the motion in which the water was moving while in-focus, which means the
shutter speed would have been increased to be able to capture this. The last
technique used would have been the way in which the photo was composed, for
example the shot type used was a long shot and the angle in which the photo was
taken is known as high angle however it can seem to appear as an eye level
shot, these angles and shot types were used as it helps to connote the illusion
of insignificance as by doing this the people within the image just become part

combining the two in this photograph i.e. the modernisation and the
stereotypical Native American culture (Traditional stereotype of them using
fire) it could be used in a newspaper/website article from the Daily Express or The Sun.

this image vary, one of the more obvious techniques used is high key lighting
as natural lighting is being used. The second technique which is again one of
the more obvious ones used is the rule of thirds, which is used to make the
image look balanced. The third photography technique that this image uses is
known as deep depth of field which is caused/created by having a small aperture
which is shown as both the foreground and the background are in focus this is done through the use of a larger f-number such as f/8, the last technique this image would have used would
have been the way in which the photo was composed, for example the shot type
used was a long shot this is denoted as it shows the person in full (head to
toe) as well as it has lots of background/foreground detail, and the angle that
was used is known as a low angled shot however it can seem to appear as an eye
level shot/neutral shot, both of these angles can help to connote the meaning/purpose
